I purchased this kit after watching many videos explaining why this upgrade is important for protecting your investment by protecting the engine in your ski from jet pump bearing failure. Other videos showed instalation of the upgrade which were very helpful. I think one importance thing that was not emphasized enough was that, not only is a thread on the shaft and a nut for is added but the overall configuration of the shaft bearing changes. Steve at Kawi Performance listened to my concerns, verified my setup, and assured me that the kit I purchased was correct. I installed it and sure enough it fit and operated perfectly. Just remember, when they say, “single bearing setup” it doesn’t mean there is only one bearing in the whole pump, it means only one case bearing and also one further down the shaft closer to the cone. During the upgrade, that shaft bearing goes away and the new bearing that takes its place will now be in the new cone(that is totally different than the original cone. Anyway, I am happy with the quality of this product and customer service, shipping options and arrival time, tachinal support availability, both phone support and social media presence with many great video for jetski enthusiasts and wannabe mechanics like myself.

Best Customer Service Ever! Not exaggerating!!! Before I ordered a few parts I email to check back order status. Kawiperformance replied same day and it was after hours. The parts were on hand and ready to ship. I placed my order and they shipped all my parts the same day!!!!…so if it says back ordered….don’t sweat it. They probably have it!

Then….I had a problem with the installation of the pump upgrade kit…it was my fault i was in a hurry…I emailed Kawiperformance about my issue and they solved my problem same day. It really is Customer Service that almost doesn’t exist anymore!!!
